Job description

We are urgently looking for a Production Manager for our PASIR GUDANG / KLUANG plant.

Production Planning

• Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Ensure on‑time delivery according to customer demand.
• Optimize manpower, machine utilization, and shift arrangements.
• Monitor production KPIs (output, efficiency, downtime, OEE).

CNC Machining Operations

• Oversee CNC turning/machining operations.
• Ensure correct setup, tooling, and process parameters.
• Coordinate with Engineering and QA for new parts, trials, and process changes.
• Reduce cycle time, setup time, and machine idle time.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Drive scrap reduction, rework control, and defect prevention.
• Support root cause analysis (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone).

People Management

• Lead, train, and motivate supervisors, technicians, and operators.
• Monitor discipline, attendance, and productivity.
• Conduct performance reviews and skill matrix planning.
• Promote teamwork and a positive shop‑floor culture.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental requirements.
• Enforce SOPs, work instructions, and safety rules.
• Support internal and external audits (IATF, customer audits).
• Work closely with HR and Safety on corrective actions.

Cost & Resource Control

• Control production costs (overtime, scrap, tooling usage).
• Monitor tool life and coordinate with purchasing on tooling needs.
• Support budgeting and cost‑reduction initiatives.
