Job description
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical design or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of basic mechanical product design experience or production engineer experience.
  • Proficient in SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of plastic molds, plastic product structure, performance, and molding principles.
  • Experience in complete product structure design.
  • Familiarity with metal, rubber, and related component manufacturing processes.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, good teamwork and communication skills; able to complete assigned tasks efficiently and on time.
  • Responsible for PCB repair and production testing/debugging.
  • Experience in debugging ultrasonic welding machines and injection molding machines; experience with automatic soldering machines or dispensing machines is an advantage.
  • Ability to debug printer-related production equipment.
  • Prepare work instructions, production documents, and follow up on assembly fixtures.
  • Required to travel to China for training.
Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed control plans for production processes, including identifying key process characteristics, inspection methods, and control measures.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper implementation and updates.
  • Create and maintain Process FMEA documents to identify potential failure modes and risks in the manufacturing process.
  • Organize PFMEA meetings and ensure action items are followed up and closed.
  • Perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA), including GR&R studies, to evaluate measurement system accuracy and repeatability.
  • Provide recommendations based on MSA results to improve measurement reliability.
  • Develop clear and comprehensive work instructions for operators, covering assembly methods, testing steps, and safety requirements.
  • Ensure documents are updated and properly controlled.
  • Support routine maintenance of production machines to ensure stable operation.
  • Coordinate with maintenance technicians or vendors for preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Fine-tune machines and equipment to achieve optimal performance during production.
  • Adjust process parameters based on product requirements or quality feedback.
  • Diagnose issues in defective battery packs and perform necessary rework or repair.
  • Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Prepare fixtures/test kits for every model
  • Design, assemble, and validate production fixtures and testing kits required for different product models.
  • Ensure compatibility, accuracy, and ease of use for production needs.
  • Inspect existing fixtures for wear, accuracy, and functionality.
  • Modify or improve fixtures based on engineering changes or production feedback.
  • Create and maintain technical documents such as test procedures, checklists, assembly guides, and validation reports.
  • Ensure documentation is complete and up to date for each product model.
  • Interpret basic electrical schematics to build or repair test cables and jigs used during production.
  • Ensure correct wiring, continuity, and functionality.
  • Understand and follow automated or semi-automated test scripts provided by engineers.
  • Conduct product testing according to defined procedures and record results accurately.
  • Operate label printing machines, adjust printing parameters such as alignment, temperature, and speed.
  • Inspect printed labels for quality, clarity, and compliance with product requirements.
