Job description

To analyze, design, and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product or service quality across manufacturing operations.

Job Responsibilities
  • 1. Process Analysis & Mapping
    • Conduct end-to-end analysis of current manufacturing processes;
    • Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and waste using Lean/Six Sigma tools;
    • Develop process flow diagrams and SOPs;
    • Support or lead Lean, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma initiatives;
    • Recommend and implement cost-saving measures and productivity improvements.
  • 3. Data Collection & Reporting
    • Gather and analyze data related to production cycle time, yield, and downtime;
    • Prepare regular reports and dashboards for management review.
  • 4. Project Management
    • Assist in planning and executing process improvement projects;
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely implementation.
  • 5. SOP Development & Documentation
    • Assist in drafting and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for key operational processes;
    • Work closely with departments to ensure SOPs reflect actual practices and compliance requirements;
    • Maintain a central repository of all approved SOPs.
  • 6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work with departments such as Production, QA, Engineering, and HR to align process changes;
    • Assist in change management during implementation of new procedures.
  • 7. Training & Support
    • Train team members on new processes and SOPs;
    • Provide on-ground support during process transitions or pilot runs.
  • 8. Compliance & Risk Mitigation
    • Ensure that improved processes comply with ISO, regulatory, and internal quality standards;
    • Support audits and internal process reviews.
Requirement
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or equivalent.
  • 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing/process improvement roles.
  • Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or equivalent tools.
  • Experience in SOP development and documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and flowchart tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
