Process Engineer (Production Process & Design)

Mills Recruitment is partnering with a global company that provides modular data‑center and power‑system solutions, with manufacturing operations in Johor. They’re looking for a Process Engineer to help improve production processes, ensure quality, and support new product introductions. This is a great chance to join a growing team and be part of a technically advanced operation.

Job Overview: The Process Engineer designs, implements, and optimizes industrial processes to enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality within a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include analyzing workflows, creating documentation, designing and testing new or modified systems, managing projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating across teams to troubleshoot and drive continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare annual process work plans and compile process standards, manuals, quality control points, and other management documents.
  • Review product process design and assess technical and economic feasibility of requirements, structures, material selections, and assembly conditions.
  • Guide the development of new product process plans, prototypes, small‑batch trials, and mass production routes, including process cards, diagrams, and work instructions.
  • Interpret and integrate external process technical documents.
  • Inspect process discipline compliance and issue corrective actions for violations.
  • Develop process codes and discipline inspection standards.
  • Resolve process and technical issues, propose optimizations for outdated processes or quality instability, and evaluate equipment capability needs.
  • Disseminate process documentation and conduct operator training and workshops to promote process understanding.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field (chemical, mechanical, industrial, etc.).
  • At least 3 years of experience in equipment design, process control, data analysis, and production efficiency.
