Job summary

A construction and engineering firm in Malaysia is seeking an individual to assist with project planning for ongoing construction projects. The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and 2-3 years of experience in project planning, risk management, and budget monitoring. Proficiency in Ms Project and Primavera software is necessary. The successful candidate will work independently, maintain stakeholder relationships, and actively propose solutions as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in project planning and reporting.
  • Experience in handling building and infrastructure projects is an added advantage.
  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Senior Planning Engineer for ongoing construction projects.
  • Track actual work done and monitor delays for potential slippages.
  • Prepare Extension of Time (EoT) reports as required.

Job description
Responsibilities

Assist Senior Planning Engineer for on going construction project (e.g. construction work programme, organization chart, logistic planning, plant and machinery, and man power as needed. Including the preparation and coordination of the development of the Master Work Programme (MWP) and construction project plans for assigned projects as required.

Assist in tracking actual work done and monitoring delays for potential slippages for ongoing project.

Assist in the preparation of Extension of Time (EoT) reports as required.

Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by management.

Qualifications
  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in project planning and reporting, risk management, budget monitoring, etc.
  • Familiarity with Ms Project, Primavera software and MS Office (Excel).
  • Experience in handling building and infrastructure projects is an added advantage.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with the initiative to propose solutions.
  • Self-motivated person and able to work independently with integrity.
