Job Summary

The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing key client relationships, acting as the main point of contact to ensure client satisfaction and delivering strategic guidance with a focus on client acquisition, client retention and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all client needs and inquiries, ensuring ongoing engagement and satisfaction
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships, understanding their business needs and goals, maintaining strong and positive relationship with key stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing consultative advice and identifying new opportunities for clients
  • Identify opportunities to expand services and upsell solutions, driving additional revenue from existing and new clients
  • Develop account plans and strategies tailored to each client's goals and objectives
  • Proactively monitor and stay informed about new technologies and the competitive landscape
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as technical and marketing to deliver optimal solutions to clients
  • Able to communicate and prospect company’s solution offerings to clients
  • Track and report on account performance metrics, ensuring targets are met or exceeded
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, and revenue projections in a timely manner
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT sales with a proven track record in client growth and retention, focusing on either one of the following areas:
    • Application Related Solution
    • Infrastructure/Network Solution/Virtualization/Managed Services
    • IT Security Management Solution
  • Experience in direct account management, preferably FSI industry and large enterprise accounts
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details
  • Independent, proactive, attentive, and goal‑oriented
  • Proficiency in spoken and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia
