A major media company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Multi-Channel Network / Business Development Executive. This role involves content planning, social media management across various platforms, and building proprietary IPs. The ideal candidate has a degree in media or marketing, 2-3 years of self-promotion experience, fluency in Mandarin and English, and skills in content creation. The position offers opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic environment.
Fully responsible for the content planning, script production, video creation, and account growth of all company-owned social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Xiaohongshu, TikTok, etc.), and for building the company’s proprietary IP portfolio.
Key Responsibilities1–3 years of experience in TikTok influencer/streamer/KOL outreach and business partnerships. Familiar with the influencer ecosystem of at least one major content platform such as Douyin or TikTok, including pricing structures and collaboration models across different content verticals.
Possess established influencer resources (e.g., niche or mid-tier creators with direct contact access), or demonstrate proven success in influencer acquisition and partnership development (e.g., independently engaging 50+ influencers and securing 30+ successful collaborations).
Strong understanding of the end-to-end influencer collaboration workflow, including initial outreach, needs assessment, contract coordination, and execution follow-up, with the ability to independently manage and close partnerships.
Prior business development experience with brands, MCN agencies, or content platforms is highly preferred. Experience with livestream commerce and short-form video integrations is an added advantage.
