Job summary

A leading electronics manufacturing company in Penang is seeking a Maintenance Debugging Technician. This role involves diagnosing and repairing hardware faults, performing tasks on Linux systems, and supporting maintenance activities. Ideal candidates will have a diploma or degree in relevant fields and may include fresh graduates. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential, along with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently. The position involves morning and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or Mechanical fields.

• Work experience related to computer repair is preferred.
• Familiarity with Linux systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults in hardware such as motherboards and hard drives.

Perform basic command operations and query fault information on a Linux testing system

Perform other maintenance and technical support tasks as assigned by the management

Assist any ad hoc task assigned by the superior.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

• Work experience related to computer repair is preferred

• Experience on able to use solder, soldering iron, and other electronic repair tools is preferred

• Familiar with Linux systems is preferred

• Positive and proactive attitude is preferred

• Good communication and negotiation skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia. Additional foreign language will be added advantage, for instance Mandarin.

• Able to work independently in fast-paced, matrix, or regional/global settings

• Working Location: Perai, Penang Mainland.

• Able to support shifts (Morning & Night shifts).
