Job summary

A leading logistics company in Klang seeks a Logistic Executive for night shifts supporting US time zones. Responsibilities include preparing essential shipping documentation and ensuring compliance with customer procedures. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience, excellent communication skills, and organizational abilities. Interested candidates should be prepared to work on public holidays if required and ideally start on short notice. This role offers a structured work week from Monday to Friday with additional allowances for night shifts.

  • Willing to work night shift (support US time zone).
  • Prior experience with documentation preparation and booking advantageous.
  • At least 1-3 years working experience in the related field.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with internal operations to meet customer’s requirements.
  • Liaise with internal and external parties.
  • Prepare documentation such as Bill of Lading, Invoice, Packing List, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with Customers’ Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Proofreading of BL drafts & approval to carriers.
  • Arrange booking of ocean vessels for export containers.

5 Days Work Week (Monday to Friday, Night Shift) – With Night Shift Allowance

Job Responsibilities:

Work closely with internal operations to meet customer’s requirements

Liaise with internal and external party

Prepare documentation (such as Bill of Lading, Invoice, Packing List, COA, COO, Insurance, Application for Collection, Bank Draft etc)

Ensure compliance with Customers’ Standard Operating Procedures

Proofreading of BL drafts & Approval of BL drafts to Carriers

Requesting amendment of BL drafts to Carriers (if any)

Arrange booking of ocean vessels and drayage for export containers and update systems accordingly

Read e-mails several times daily and reply to all emails daily

Commit to get orders completed in compliance with KPI. Take all possible action to complete orders and log corresponding Non-Conformances if third parties are preventing order completion within KPI

Job Requirement:

Willing to work night shift (Support US Time Zone)

Available to work in Public Holiday if being required (overtime/off in lieu (replacement leave) will be given)

Prior experience with documentation preparation and booking would be advantageous

At least 1-3 years working experience in the related field

Ability to prioritize work, well organized and good coordination

Good communication skills and proficiency in English

Able to start within short notice will be an advantage
