Job description

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and provide analysis to partners and clients.
• Draft legal documents and cause papers for the dispute resolution or financial crimes and asset recovery processes.
• Participate in all aspects of litigation, including witness preparation, trial preparation, attending court hearings, and case management.
• Collaborate with partners and associates to develop litigation strategy and provide recommendations.
• Manage and delegate tasks to junior and trainee associates and support staff.
• Attend client meetings, calls, negotiations, and provide legal advice.
• Ensure file management in accordance with firm SOPs, handling files independently and collaboratively.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, responding to inquiries and updating on case status.
• Continuously learn and develop knowledge in relevant areas of law through seminars, workshops, and professional development.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in civil litigation matters.
• Experience in criminal litigation matters is an advantage.
• Strong work ethics.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
