Job summary

A leading educational institution in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dedicated Forensic Science Lecturer, Law Lecturer, or TESL Lecturer. The successful candidate will plan and deliver lectures for diploma-level subjects and supervise student projects. Candidates should hold a relevant degree, preferably a Master's, and have excellent communication skills. This role provides the opportunity to contribute to curriculum development and engage with industry partners for student internships.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Degree in a relevant field required.
  • Teaching experience in higher education is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with MoHE, MQA, and academic policies necessary.

Job description

We're looking for Forensic Science Lecturer, Law Lecturer and TESL Lecturer.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver lectures, tutorials, and workshops in relevant diploma level subjects
  • Prepare teaching materials and assessments in line with MoHE/MQA standards
  • Supervise student projects and monitor academic progress
  • Contribute to curriculum review and course improvement
  • Ensure alignment with industry trends and academic standards
  • Participate in institutional academic audits and quality enhancement initiatives
  • Attend departmental/faculty meetings, training sessions, and workshops
  • Assist in student recruitment activities (open days, school visits)
  • Build and maintain industry links for student internships and collaborative projects
Qualifications
  • Minimum Degree in the relevant field (Forensic, Law, TESL, Social Work, Sociology and Anthropology, Business)
  • Preferred Master’s Degree
  • Teaching experience in higher education is an added advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with MoHE, MQA, and institutional academic policies
  • Knowledge in preparation Table 4 and JSU is essential
