ARTIS XDS STUDIO is seeking a passionate and talented Junior Retail Designer to join our collaborative team in Petaling Jaya. This is a full-time, entry-level position designed for a fresh graduate ready to launch their career in high-end commercial and retail design.

You will work directly under our Senior Retail Designer, Claire, and Creative Director, Leslie, contributing to all phases of the design process from concept development to technical documentation.

This role is the foundation of our design team, offering direct mentorship and hands‑on experience across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities & Creative Impact

• Concept Development: Assist in developing creative concepts, mood boards, and material palettes for new retail and commercial projects.
• Technical Drafting: Produce accurate 2D technical drawings (plans, elevations, sections) using AutoCAD.
• 3D Visualization: Create high-quality 3D models and renderings using SketchUp and V‑Ray/Lumion for internal and client presentations.
• Documentation: Prepare comprehensive design documentation packages, including material specifications and furniture schedules.
• Studio Support: Assist with organizing the material library, updating the project portfolio, and general studio administration.
• Design Software: Strong command of AutoCAD (essential for 2D drafting), SketchUp (essential for 3D modeling), and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Visualization: Ability to create basic 3D models and renderings for internal and client presentations.
• Documentation: Proficiency in preparing comprehensive design documentation packages.
• Salary: Competitive Starting Salary of RM 2,800 - RM 3,500 per month (based on portfolio and interview performance).
