A technology support company located in Penang is seeking a candidate for an AV and user support role. The successful applicant will provide assistance for tools like Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, and Zoom. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, conducting device tests, and supporting users with AV equipment setup. Provide day-to-day support for Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, and Zoom.
Assist users with meeting setup, audio/video issues, and connectivity problems.
Troubleshoot software, account, and hardware-related issues.
Create simple guides and provide basic training to employees.
Identify and recommend suitable audio-visual devices (webcams, microphones, speakers, displays, room systems, etc.).
Evaluate and compare products for compatibility, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
Support R&D efforts by researching new collaboration tools and AV technologies.
Conduct testing and validation of meeting devices before deployment.
Perform functionality tests for Teams, Webex, and Zoom-certified equipment.
Document test results, performance issues, and improvement recommendations.
Ensure selected devices meet company standards and integrate well with existing systems.
Assist with setup and maintenance of meeting rooms and AV equipment.
Monitor system performance and highlight recurring issues.
Work with IT teams on escalations and system improvements.
Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, and Zoom.
Basic understanding of audio-visual devices (webcams, microphones, speakers, displays).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and ability to support non-technical users.
Interest in researching and testing new equipment and technologies.
Experience in IT support or helpdesk is an added advantage.
