Job summary

A leading laboratory services company based in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, is seeking an inventory support specialist. Responsibilities include ensuring stock accuracy, maintaining inventory management systems, and preparing inventory reports. The ideal candidate will work closely with logistics to enhance process management and will adhere to company SOPs. This role requires an eye for detail and the ability to support various inventory tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing efficient support to inventory relevant matters.
• Ensure stock accuracy by conducting monthly inventory physical stock take.
• Implement and maintain inventory management systems using ERP system.
• To ensure compliance of warehouse to company SOP.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements and transactions.
• Prepare reports on inventory status, stock discrepancies and other relevant metrics.
• Work closely with warehouse and logistics personnel to improve the process management of warehouse and transportation.
• Review inventory regularly to keep sure stock is under a reasonable range.
• Responsible for the inspection of condition and quantity of goods receiving from supplier.
• To support the process purchase requisitions and prepare purchase order.
• Any ad hoc task assigned by superior.
