Job description

Facilities assistant data analyst cum administration roles at Data Centre, managing critical facilities information, data analysis and compilation of customer reports, to meet challenging requirements and timeline.

Your Work Life:
  • Manage and update internal Facilities database and Job Order ticketing portal on customers’ equipment rack energy utilization (equipment rack power & cooling consumption records). To ensure data accurately by verifying database regularly and acquire for necessary information from the related stakeholders when clarification of information is required.
  • Consolidate and perform data verification from the HVAC monitoring system to avoid customer dispute and conduct immediate correction action to the issues identified.
  • Conduct data centre equipment racks audit and site inspection to maintain data accuracy.
  • Update and prepare monthly data centre performance reports according to the committed submission date to client managers and customers.
  • Update and provide monthly equipment’s rack energy utilization reports to Billing Department complying to the reporting deadline. Verify and ensure reports’ accuracy to avoid commercial disputes and strictly adhere to Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Prepare and provide equipment’s power utilization data as and when required by internal stakeholder for contract renewal and equipment rack power allocation or revision.
  • Manage and update Job Order ticketing on customers enquiries related to equipment power utilization, Data Centre equipment rack’s information and other general enquiries related to equipment’s HVAC operation data and Data Centre facilities.
  • Manage Job Order ticketing related to the equipment rack’s activation and termination requests, updating the HVAC database accurately. Database shall be updated regularly for internal reference and ensure no equipment power utilization dispute from internal or external stakeholders.
  • Monitor, verify and update equipment’s racks, power circuits labelling, consumption readings and necessary information to the centralized monitoring system (Building Management System), and report any abnormalities for rectification process.
  • Collaborate with data centre duty personnel, chargeman and technician on highlighted issues, analyze and propose rectification via the data analytical process.
  • Manage departmental administrative roles such as PR/PO and invoicing payment processes, documentation, and filing. Details tracking and records are essential to ensure for future reference and audit purposes.
  • Assist and monitor, filing and consolidate documentation such as facilities equipment service/maintenance reports systematically. Details tracking and records are essential to ensure for future reference and audit purposes.
  • Perform other administrative duties assigned by immediate superior.
To be considered, you’ll need:
  • Candidate must possess at least STPM, Diploma, Bachelor’s degree, or any relevant qualification with two years of working experience. Fresh university graduate is welcome.
  • Knowledge of facilities M&E systems, HVAC operations will be a plus-point for consideration.
  • Good data interpreting skills and computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point (Intermediate level or above).
  • A motivated and organized professional that is insightful, thorough, and detail oriented.
  • Possess interest in dealing with data, analyze trends and make appropriate recommendations for improvements.
  • Resourceful and positive mindset, possess strong integrity, demonstrate effective teamwork, and people skills to foster constructive working relationship.

  • Strong analytical skills, meticulous, ability to analyze and determine the root cause as well as the symptoms of an issue.
