An established SME in Malaysia is seeking an experienced HR & Admin Manager to lead all HR and administrative functions. The successful candidate must have a degree in HR Management or Business Administration and 5-7 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in a managerial role. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Responsibilities include overseeing recruitment, payroll management, and office administration. We are an established SME looking for an experienced HR & Admin Manager to lead the full spectrum of human resource and administrative functions. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, and have strong leadership and communication skills.
Oversee HR functions including recruitment, training, performance appraisal, and employee relations.
Develop, implement, and periodically review HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook to ensure full compliance with Malaysian labour laws and regulatory requirements.
Handle staff disciplinary matters, counselling, and grievance management.
Manage monthly payroll, sales commission calculation, attendance, leave, and statutory submissions (LHDN, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRD Corp).
Prepare HR reports and provide HR advisory support to management to facilitate informed decision-making.
Handle day-to-day office administration, including purchasing, asset management, office equipment upkeep, and management of service providers and service contracts.
Ensure proper maintenance of filing systems, documentation, and records for all HR and administrative matters.
Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
5-7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
Proven experience in managing both HR and administrative functions.
Fluent in English & Bahasa Malaysia (verbal & written). Ability to also speak in Mandarin is an added advantage for communicating with employees.
Good knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and HR statutory requirements.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Able to work independently and handle confidential matters professionally.
