Role

Host to Host Application Developer (Java)

Responsibilities

• H2H Integration and Development: Design, develop, and implement robust H2H (Host-to-Host) integrations, ensuring seamless data exchange and connectivity with various client systems.
• System Configuration & Management: Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain applications and integration components, particularly within Linux environments.
• Documentation & Approval Process: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for developed solutions, integration specifications, and system configurations. Ensure proper approval processes are followed.
• Effective Communication & Problem-Solving: Exhibit strong communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and effectively resolve complex technical issues.
• Attention to Detail: Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in coding, configuration, testing, and documentation to ensure accuracy and reliability of H2H integrations and applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Proven experience as an Application Developer, with a focus on H2H integrations.
• Strong proficiency in Java or other relevant programming languages.
• Extensive experience with Linux operating systems (e.g., scripting, command-line operations, system administration basics).
• Demonstrated experience with H2H integration technologies and protocols.
• Experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator or similar integration platforms is a significant plus.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.

Additional Information

The position will require occasional support outside of regular hours (evenings and weekends) for deployments, system maintenance, or critical issue resolution. Time off or off-in-lieu will be provided for overtime.
