A leading logistics firm in Malaysia is seeking an experienced General Manager to provide strategic leadership for their 3PL division. The role involves P&L accountability, driving growth strategies, and ensuring operational excellence. Candidates should have 10–15 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, strong leadership skills, and knowledge of regulatory compliance. A bachelor's degree in a related field is required. This position offers an opportunity to lead a key business unit towards growth and operational efficiency.
Must have experience in 3PL (Freight Forwarding Industry)

Job Descriptions:
Provide overall strategic leadership and direction for the 3PL business, encompassing Contract Logistics, and Warehouse Operations, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and market positioning.
Hold full P&L accountability for the 3PL division, including revenue growth, cost optimisation, budgeting, profitability, and overall financial performance management.
Define and drive commercial growth strategies through expansion of existing key accounts, acquisition of new customers locally and overseas, and close collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams.
Establish and govern operational excellence frameworks, including performance standards, service benchmarks, and scalable operating models to ensure cost-effective and reliable 3PL solutions.
Lead continuous improvement and transformation initiatives, leveraging best practices, process optimisation, digitalization, and automation to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience (CX).
Identify, assess, and manage business, operational, regulatory, and financial risks, ensuring robust governance, contingency planning, and timely corrective actions.
Ensure full regulatory and bonded customs compliance, while maintaining senior-level relationships with customs authorities, regulators, service providers, and strategic partners, including oversight of contracts and SLAs.
Provide executive leadership and people governance, setting KPIs, driving performance accountability, succession planning, safety and compliance culture, and contributing to corporate strategy and long‑term business sustainability.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
10–15 years of senior leadership experience in 3PL, contract logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management.
Good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Proven P&L ownership with strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, profitability management, revenue growth, and business development across local and international markets.
In-depth expertise in 3PL operations, contract logistics, bonded warehouse operations, and end‑to‑end supply chain solutions, with solid knowledge of bonded customs and regulatory compliance.
Demonstrated ability to lead, multi‑functional teams and external partners, set KPIs, drive performance management, negotiate vendor contracts, and govern SLAs and service performance.
Strong strategic leadership, analytical, and change management capabilities, with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
