Job Description & Working Conditions

Primary / Secondary English teacher (2 positions)

  • Type: Full-time
  • Hours: Mon to Fri, 07:50~15:50 (8hrs)
  • Salary: RM3,500–RM4,000 (Based on qualifications)
  • Additional income from after‑school program depending on offerings.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Pupil Support
    • Assess and support student learning in Primary ‘Reading & Writing’ and ‘Language Arts’ classes, as well as Secondary ‘English Conversation’ classes.
    • Have high expectations and commit to raising students’ educational achievement.
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues to raise standards by sharing effective practice.
    • Identify needs of students requiring extra support and develop individual targets and intervention plans.
    • Provide extra support through a range of activities and opportunities.
  2. Administration
    • Manage and oversee the English curriculum for assigned levels, including planning and execution of English‑related events (e.g., English camps, Spelling Bees, or school festivals).
    • Undertake reasonable duties assigned by the Principal or Senior Leadership Team regarding administrative functions.
    • Maintain accurate student records and prepare written reports and evaluations each semester.
    • Participate in departmental meetings to coordinate curriculum and support strategies.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
  • Must possess a degree or teaching qualification or equivalent.
  • TESOL, CELTA, TESMC or other English teaching certification preferred.
  • Previous EAL teaching experience in an international school preferred.
  • Experience teaching Korean learners preferred.

    Recruitment Schedule
    1. Stage 1: Application Review (Document Screening)

      Result announcement: January 7, 2026 (Wed)

      Evaluation: Comprehensive review of experience, qualifications, degrees, and documents.

      Selection: At least three times the number of positions available will be selected for next stage.

    2. Stage 2: Interview & Demo Lesson

      Period: January 8, 2026 (Thu) – January 19, 2026 (Mon)

      Evaluation: Comprehensive assessment of personality, pedagogical aptitude, English proficiency, teaching skills.

      Note: Only candidates who pass Stage 1 will be invited for an interview.

    3. Final Result Announcement

      Date: January 21, 2026 (Wed)

      Note: Final successful candidates notified individually.
