This is a well established and leading provider of international freight forwarding and logistics services, operating from a network of international agents across Asia, South Pacific islands, Europe and America. Due to the increasing business volume coming onboard in recent time, they are currently seeking to recruit capable candidates to assume the role of Freight Forwarding and Logistics Administrator to be part of their freight logistics operations teams in Kelana Jaya in Petaling Jaya.

About the job

The roles available are full time permanent positions based at corporate head office at Kelana Jaya in Petaling Jaya.

The nature of the positions are fast paced and applicants will need a high degree of accuracy and detail, the ability to multi‑task and good communication skills, especially in English as you will be liaising with a variety of customers, suppliers and overseas agents.

The roles will require someone confident in managing shipments from origin to destination, including preparation of quotations and negotiation on freight rates involved. Specifically, the incumbent will be required to attend customers' needs and inquiries for sea freight services, source prevailing freight rates from shipping and update customers on their shipment status.

Specifically, the role will see you responsible for the execution of freight movements for exports and imports sea freight shipments.

Requirements - Candidate profile
