Job summary

Job description

Supervise daily operations involving Neolith, Quartz, Marble, Granite, and Glaskeramik materials.

Manage CNC, bridge saw, waterjet, and laser cutting machines for profiling, shaping, and finishing.

Ensure proper calibration, edge detailing, and polishing to meet design and installation standards.

Oversee dry-lay layout processes for book-matched, vein-matched, and pattern-sensitive projects.

Coordinate with project teams to ensure installation drawings and dry-lay approvals are completed before dispatch.

Ensure all pieces are numbered, packed, and labelled according to installation sequence.

Plan and monitor production schedules based on project timelines and material availability.

Align factory output with site readiness, delivery milestones, and client expectations.

Track job progress and adjust priorities to meet urgent project requirements.

Inspection, Quality Control & Sample Management

Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface quality.

Manage sample preparation and submission for consultant/client approval.

Maintain records of approved samples, mock-ups, and dry-lay photos for project documentation.

Team Supervision & Safety Compliance

Lead a team of supervisors, machine operators, and finishing workers.

Ensure adherence to safety protocols, PPE usage, and machine handling SOPs.

Provide on-the-job training for new staff on machinery, dry-lay, and finishing techniques.

Logistics & Delivery Coordination

Oversee packing, crating, and dispatch of finished goods to project sites.

Ensure delivery is sequenced and documented according to project zones or installation phases.

Liaise with transporters and site supervisors to ensure smooth handover.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in stone fabrication or architectural surface production.

Strong knowledge of stone machinery, profiling techniques, and dry-lay practices.

Familiarity with project-based production planning and site coordination.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD (basic), and ERP systems.

Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an advantage
