Job description

Responsible for ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operation of the plant’s electrical systems. This role covers electrical maintenance, project execution, regulatory compliance and energy management initiatives.

Responsibilities

1. Plan, design, implement electrical distribution systems for the facilities (LV/HV systems, MCCs, switchgear, transformers and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
2. Troubleshoot, repair and improve reliability of electrical systems, including power distribution and protection devices.
3. Develop and execute preventive maintenance program.
4. Lead electrical related projects, prepare electrical specifications, evaluate contractor proposals and oversee installations.
5. Manage commissioning and testing to ensure systems meet performance, requirements and completed in timely manner.
6. Monitor and analyze plant energy consumption and identify efficiency improvement opportunities. Support sustainability initiatives including renewable energy integration.
7. Maintain up-to-date electrical documentations (single line diagrams, as-built drawings).
8. Ensure critical spare parts are maintained and available.
9. Strong technical knowledge in electrical fields, local electrical codes & standards.
10. Exposure to energy management system.
