A construction firm located in Malaysia is seeking a professional with a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying to lead their contract team. Responsibilities include managing contract administration, liaising with contractors, and ensuring project delivery. Lead and supervise the contract team across pre- and post-contract functions, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Manage the full spectrum of contract administration including budgeting, sourcing, tender preparation, tender analysis, procurement, contract award, and post-contract administration.
Prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of tender documents, Bills of Quantities (BQ), Letters of Award (LOA), and contract agreements with consultants and contractors.
Liaise with consultants, suppliers, and contractors throughout tendering, negotiation, and project execution to safeguard company interests.
Preparing information to participate in tender exercise, measurement, writing quotations, costing report & tender submission.

Preparation of taking off quantity, material sourcing, material estimating and labour cost.
Preparing projects budget, projects cash flow, management tender committee reports and final accounts.
Involving in costing, estimating, purchasing of materials, price negotiation with clients & sub-contractors, awarding of contracts etc.
Ensuring transparency, accountability and responsibility is maintained and all transactions in the department in the interest of the interest of the company.
Advising and assisting the PIC's on compliance with contractual requirement including EOT, variation works, progress claims and Sub-contract payments.
Re-measuring quantities in original and variation works (including material-on site) for verification of progress claims, final accounts and Sub-contract payments.
Monitor and coordinate contractual claims, payments, variations and final accounts.
Working in conjunction with the PIC's in budget preparation solicitation evaluation negotiation and award of Sub-contracts.
Attending client consultants meeting, project meeting and site valuation
Candidate must posses at least Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent from a recognized institution.
At least 87 - 10 years of working experience in ID Contractor (Interior Decoration, Renovation, Joinery Work & Loose Furniture)
Well verse in Microsoft Office Software.
Good in spoken and written English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Posses good analytical skills, meticulous, highly organized, proactive, committed and strong negotiation skills.
Ability to build good relationship internally and externally.
Able to work independently under minimal supervision.
Able to work under pressure and meet deadline.
