About the role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Finance Officer to join our dynamic team at IMIKA EMPIRE SDN BHD. In this full‑time role based in Ipoh, Perak, you will oversee the entire financial management and strategic direction of the company. As a key member of the executive leadership, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial performance and long‑term growth of the organisation.

What you’ll be doing

• Developing and implementing comprehensive financial strategies to support the company’s business objectives.
• Providing expert financial guidance and counsel to the executive team on all major business decisions.
• Overseeing the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Identifying and mitigating financial risks, and implementing effective controls and compliance measures.
• Leading the finance team and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Collaborating cross‑functionally to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
• Ensuring full compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.

What we’re looking for

• Proven track record as a senior finance executive, ideally with 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, and a professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to align financial strategies with broader organisational goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information to both financial and non‑financial stakeholders.
• Hands‑on experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Thorough understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and risk management practices.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to build and motivate high‑performing finance teams.
