A leading offshore catering company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Cook/Chief Cook to prepare meals and supervise kitchen staff. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of offshore cooking experience, knowledge of food hygiene standards, and relevant certifications. This role ensures the smooth operation of dietary needs for crews while maintaining safety and compliance in a multicultural setting.
Plan and prepare daily meals that meet crew dietary needs and preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in galley, mess room, and food storage areas.
Monitor food stocks, manage inventory, and place timely requisitions.
Ensure safe handling, storage, and preparation of provisions.
Supervise catering staff and ensure compliance with offshore safety regulations.
