About the Team

This is a Customer Technology team that sits at the heart of commercial CRM delivery, connecting sales, services, finance, and marketing to translate business needs into secure, scalable solutions. We work end‑to‑end from discovery and requirements through design and rollout in close partnership with architects, security, privacy, and risk. The team is pragmatic, collaborative, and outcome‑focused, with strong exposure to Salesforce and adjacent platforms.

About the Role

As a Business Analyst, your primary focus will be on delivering detailed and accurate business analysis to support initiative objectives. You will be responsible for clearly documenting requirements, facilitating effective communication with stakeholders, and identifying opportunities for process improvements that align with business goals. Collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams, including engineers, product owners, and quality assurance, you will ensure a shared understanding and alignment throughout the initiative.

Your role will also involve supporting project delivery, mitigating risks, and ensuring the smooth implementation of new systems or processes, ultimately contributing to the success of initiative and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish initiative scope, gather and document business requirements, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Analyse and prioritise requirements, defining key objectives, scope, and dependencies while ensuring traceability.
• Develop and document current and future state business processes to support business transformation initiatives.
• Assess technology solutions with architects, security, data, and risks teams to ensure compliance with SEEK Technology Standards and Guidelines.
• Support project delivery planning, change management, and risk assessment to ensure smooth implementation of new systems or processes.
• Contribute to developing test cases, facilitate UAT sessions, and support testing to ensure solutions meet requirements and quality standards.
• Assist in backlog refinement, iteration planning, and progress tracking to ensure timely and effective delivery of user stories.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with cross‑functional teams, share lessons learned, and participate in SEEK communities to promote best practices and collaboration.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• Commercial experience as a Business Analyst, with expertise in conducting detailed analysis and documenting complex requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively across different teams and functions.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, SQL) and business process modelling techniques.
• Experience in Agile methodologies, including iteration planning, backlog refinement, and progress tracking.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to propose innovative solutions and process improvements.
• Basic knowledge of project management principles and change management processes.
• Ability to work effectively within and across multiple teams, contributing to collaborative tasks.

Desirable Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• Expertise in advanced elicitation methods and comprehensive analysis for complex requirements.
• Experience in managing multiple initiatives or significant workstreams with a focus on delivery and results.
• In‑depth knowledge of Agile, Lean, and hybrid methodologies with practical application experience.
• Ability to provide guidance, support, and mentorship to junior team members.
