Bridal Sales Assistant (Preferably with Tailoring Skills)

💍 We’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Bridal Sales Assistant preferably with tailoring/alteration skills to join our bridal boutique and help brides look their absolute best on their big day.

Responsibilities

• Assist brides during gown fittings and styling sessions
• Take accurate body measurements and conduct pin fittings
• Perform or assist with basic bridal gown alterations (hemming, adjustments, fitting corrections, hand sewing)
• Advise brides on gown fit, structure, and customization options
• Recommend veils, accessories, and complete bridal looks
• Manage customer records, fitting schedules, and follow-ups
• Maintain cleanliness and care of bridal gowns and fitting areas
• Support sales targets and deliver excellent customer service

Qualifications

• Basic skills in tailoring, dressmaking, or garment alterations (bridal/formal wear preferred)
• Knowledge of gown structure, fabrics, and fitting techniques
• Friendly, patient, and confident when working with brides
• Sales or retail experience is an advantage
• Able to work weekends and peak wedding seasons
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility
