A technology solutions provider in Penang seeks an Azure Support & Administrator to manage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and proficient skills in Azure VMs, networking, and security. Ideal candidates will have certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and possess a minimum of 3 years' experience in cloud administration. Engaging in responsibilities such as managing subscriptions and deploying resources will be essential. Candidates should demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
We are seeking a skilled Azure Support & Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure our cloud infrastructure within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud management, networking, security, and automation, ensuring seamless operation and high availability of Azure-based services.
1. Managing Azure Subscriptions and Resources
Oversee the allocation and management of Azure subscriptions, ensuring resources are utilized efficiently and aligned with organizational policies.
Implement resource tagging and resource groups to organize and manage assets effectively, facilitating cost management and operational efficiency.
Monitoring resource usage and implementing governance policies, help prevent resource sprawl and optimize costs.
To ensures that the organization's Azure environment is structured, compliant, and cost-effective.
2. Implementing and Managing Storage Solutions
Design and implement storage solutions that meet the organization's data retention, performance, and security requirements.
Configuring Azure Blob Storage, File Shares, and managing storage accounts.
Implement data replication and backup strategies to ensure data durability and disaster recovery readiness.
Managing storage access policies and monitoring storage performance.
Ensure data is both secure and readily accessible.
3. Configuring and Managing Virtual Networks
Design and manage virtual networks (VNets) to ensure secure and efficient communication between Azure resources.
Configure subnets, network security groups, and routing to control traffic flow and protect resources from unauthorized access.
Implement VPNs and ExpressRoute connections, they enable secure hybrid cloud connectivity.
Ensures that the network infrastructure supports the organization's operational needs while maintaining security and compliance.
4. Managing Identities and Access
Administer Azure Active Directory (AAD) to manage user identities and control access to resources.
Configure user and group accounts, implementing role-based access control (RBAC), and setting up multi-factor authentication (MFA) to enhance security.
Help safeguard the organization's assets against unauthorized access.
Maintaining a secure and compliant identity management framework, which can be further strengthened by integrating NAC solutions to control device and user access at the network perimeter.
5. Deploying and Managing Azure Compute Resources
Responsible for deploying and managing virtual machines (VMs), containers, and app services to support business applications.
Select appropriate VM sizes, configure scaling options, and implement high-availability solutions to ensure performance and reliability.
Automating deployments using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Azure DevOps.
Streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.
Ensures that compute resources are provisioned efficiently, aligning with the organization's workload requirements.
6. Monitoring and Maintaining Azure Resources
Utilize Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to track the performance and health of resources.
Setting up alerts and dashboards, they proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact users.
Analyze logs to gain insights into system behavior and optimize resource performance.
Proactive monitoring ensures that the Azure environment remains stable, performant, and aligned with service level agreements (SLAs).
