Job Description
- Supervise daily logistics operations and resolve operational issues.
- Coordinate with government bodies, banks, freight forwarders, and insurance providers.
- Manage warehouse activities including inventory control, stock movement, and asset maintenance.
- Handle customer complaints and lead investigations related to logistics issues.
- Conduct and verify monthly and annual stock counts.
- Ensure compliance with ISO procedures and initiate customer satisfaction surveys.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports to authorities like the Statistics Department and Port Klang Authority.
- Renew licenses and agreements related to warehouse and transport operations.
- Provide coaching and training to staff to enhance team capabilities.
- Maintain health, safety, and environmental standards in line with ISO, HALAL, RSPO, and HACCP certifications.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Logistics & Warehouse Manager should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in logistics and warehouse operations.
- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and planning skills.
- Familiarity with customs procedures and SAP (SD & MM modules).
- Demonstrates leadership, customer orientation, and problem-solving abilities.
