A leading HR firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee daily HR operations. The successful candidate will manage recruitment processes, develop HR policies, and foster a positive work environment. Ideal applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources and a minimum of 5 years' experience in HR, including 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in the FMCG or retail pharmacy sector. The role emphasizes employee engagement and adherence to legal regulations.
Manage the full spectrum of HR daily operation in Malaysia.
Involve in development, implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures and processes to align with the Companies' goals and legal requirements.
Manage the full recruitment process by developing effective recruitment strategies, preparing job descriptions, managing job postings, screening candidates, coordinate and conduct interviews and evaluate candidates capabilities to ensure the best fit to the Companies.
Involve in developing and enhancement of the Companies' performance management system to ensure alignment with the rewards system.
Assist in developing annual Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for employees and coordinate training programs to support employee competency growth.
Foster a positive work environment by promoting effective communication, employee engagement and a strong organization culture.
Address employee relations issues including counselling session, disciplinary actions and grievance handling.
Lead, mentor and develop the HR team providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and success.
Any other ad hoc tasks/assignments assigned by your superior from time to time.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role with at least 3 years in managerial position. Experience in the FMCG or retail pharmacy industry is an added advantage.
Strong understanding of the HR principles, practices, Employment Act, Sabah Ordinance Act and relevant statutory regulations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and people management skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
Good analytical, problem solving and decision making.
Proactive, adaptable and able to work independently.
