About the job AP Assistant Manager (Mandarin Proficiency Required, On-site Cyberjaya)

Job Scope:

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of 3-5 AP professionals.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
  • Oversee the full AP cycle, including invoice processing, verification, and payment.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments in compliance with company policies.
  • Manage AP reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain AP policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare regular AP reports and analysis for management review.
  • Monitor and analyze key AP metrics to ensure performance targets are met.
  • Assist in the preparation of month-end closing and financial reports.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and resolve any issues related to payments.
  • Negotiate payment terms and manage vendor communications effectively.
  • Work closely with other departments, including finance, procurement, and operations, to ensure seamless AP operations.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Proven track record of managing a team of 3-5 AP professionals.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin (both spoken and written) is required.
  • Strong understanding of AP processes and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
