Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and posting journal entries in the Oracle system.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Help maintain fixed asset register and perform depreciation calculations.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and schedules for audits.
  • Support documentation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other finance functions as needed.

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented account assistant to join our General Ledger (GL) team. This job offers hands‑on experience in core accounting processes, financial reporting and exposure to ERP systems. The account assistant will support GL team maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with month‑end closing activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing and posting journal entries in the Oracle system.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Help maintain fixed asset register and perform depreciation calculations.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and schedules for internal and external audits.
  • Support documentation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other finance functions (AP, AR, Treasury) as needed.
  • Upload online payment when requested by client (Philippine branch).
  • Prepare weekly bank reconciliation from Oracle System.
  • Any other task assigned from Team lead and from Philippine branch.
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
