About Company:

Our client is a growing food ingredient solutions company supplying instant beverages, non-dairy creamers, sugars, and plant-based ingredients to B2B clients. The company focuses on quality, product innovation, and customised solutions, offering a dynamic and collaborative environment within the food manufacturing industry.

They are looking for a detail-oriented and organised Accountant to manage their daily financial and accounting tasks. You will be responsible for the full range of accounting duties and assist in preparation of accurate financial and management information for the Management.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare full set of accounts including data entry and preparing of payment.
  • Prepare, review, compile and analyse various reports and budgets to the Management.
  • Monitoring costing and report on variances to management.
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial information and documents, as well as the compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
  • Monitoring company’s cashflow position.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies and errors by collecting and analyzing financial information.
  • Review financial reports for annual financial audit purpose.
  • Review draft audited financial statements, tax computations and Form C.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents and company secretary.
  • Undertake other assignments assigned by the Management from time to time.
Requirements & Skills:
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance, or a professional accounting certificate (e.g., LCCI, CAT, ACCA, CIMA).
  • At least 5 years of accounting experience. Experience in manufacturing or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and able to handle full set of accounts independently.
  • Good working knowledge of basic accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of ERP is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of Malaysian tax requirements (SST).
  • A Strong team player, have good Time-management skills.
