Title: Senior Developer

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Developer to architect, build, and scale mission-critical automation systems and data pipelines for both internal operations and external client projects. You'll be the technical leader driving our automation infrastructure, designing scalable services that process high-volume data flows and integrate cutting-edge ML/AI capabilities. You'll work with modern cloud-native architecture (AWS preferred) and can integrate AI/ML agents into production workflows.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

System Architecture & Development

• Design and implement scalable automation services that handle both internal operations and external client integrations
• Build and maintain sophisticated data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and analysis at scale
• Architect event-driven systems using webhooks, message queues, and real-time processing
• Develop custom API connectors and integration layers for diverse third-party systems

Automation & Workflow Management

• Design and deploy complex n8n workflows and custom automation solutions
• Implement intelligent data routing and transformation logic across multiple systems
• Build self-healing automation pipelines with comprehensive error handling and retry mechanisms
• Create monitoring and alerting systems for proactive pipeline management
• ML/AI Integration
• Integrate machine learning models and AI assistants into production workflows
• Build ML data pipelines for model training, validation, and deployment
• Implement AI-driven decision making within automation workflows
• Design feedback loops to continuously improve AI system performance

Infrastructure & Operations

• Deploy and manage services in AWS cloud environments using infrastructure-as-code
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
• Ensure data security, privacy compliance, and system reliability
• Optimize system performance and cost efficiency at scale

Qualifications:

Technical Expertise

• 6+ years of software development experience with proven track record of building and scaling backend services in production
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript for automation, data processing, and API development
• Deep experience with API design and integration (REST, GraphQL, OAuth 2.0, rate limiting, error handling)
• Hands-on experience with workflow automation platforms (n8n, Zapier, Airflow, or similar)
• Production AWS experience with services like Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, SQS, and Step Functions

Data & Architecture Skills

• Strong background in designing event-driven architecture
• Extensive experience with data pipeline development including ETL/ELT processes
• Proficiency with data formats, transformation logic, and data quality management
• Database expertise with both SQL and NoSQL systems
• Container orchestration experience with Docker and preferably Kubernetes

Professional Skills

• Proven ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives
• Strong system design and architectural decision-making skills
• Experience with agile development practices and collaborative workflows
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with complex, distributed systems

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced Technical Skills

• Machine Learning experience including model deployment, MLOps, and production ML pipelines
• AI/LLM integration experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar platforms
• Advanced data analytics and visualization tools (Pandas, NumPy, visualization libraries)
• Stream processing experience with Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, or similar technologies
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK

Specialized Knowledge

• Data governance and compliance expertise (GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA)
• Performance optimization experience with high-throughput systems
• Security best practices for API development and data handling
• Monitoring and observability tools (DataDog, custom dashboards)
