A leading IT services company is seeking a Technical Lead / Lead Developer to focus on Data Privacy initiatives. The role involves designing and developing backend systems using Java and Spring Boot, collaborating with various teams for compliance, and implementing CI/CD practices. Ideal candidates should have strong problem-solving skills and experience in Agile methodologies. This position is available in Monterrey, Mexico.
Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations is a plus.
Responsabilités
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance with global privacy regulations.
- Design and develop robust Data Privacy backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Integrate OneTrust modules for consent management.
- Write unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.
- Implement messaging solutions using Kafka.
- Participate in code reviews focusing on security and compliance.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience withJava,Spring Boot, and modernCI/CDpractices, along with a strong understanding ofprivacy-by-design principles,data protection techniques, andregulatory compliance. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying secure, scalable enterprise applications that support privacy and governance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Data Governance, Legal, and Security teams to ensure compliance with global privacy regulations
- Design & develop robust Data Privacy backend systems using Java & Spring Boot
- Build & maintain microservices & RESTful APIs
- Integrate and configureOneTrustmodules for consent management, data mapping, and assessments
- Write & maintain unit & integration tests using JUnit &Mockito
- Implement messaging solutions using Kafka for real-time data processing
- Participate in code reviews & ensure adherence to coding standards
- Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab for automated deployments
- Conduct code reviews with a focus onsecurity,privacy, andcompliance
- Optimize application performance & troubleshoot production issues
