The ideal candidate has advanced procurement experience, a bachelor's degree, and strong skills in negotiation and communication both in English and Spanish. The strategic sourcing specialist is responsible for driving category strategies and supporting end-to-end procurement processes with minimal direction. Brings strong expertise in strategy development, market analysis, supplier management, contract negotiation, cost control, risk management, and compliance. Collaborates cross-functionally to improve performance, sustainability, and continuous improvement. Independently manages categories and leads critical initiatives that improve overall procurement outcomes.

Core Responsibilities
  • Category & Sourcing Strategy: Develop and execute category strategies, using spend analysis and market insights to guide sourcing decisions and identify best-value suppliers.
  • Supplier & Stakeholder Management: Build positive relationships with suppliers and internal partners to drive performance, innovation, and alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Negotiation & Contracting: Lead supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms and ensure cost visibility, value delivery, and long-term partnership quality.
  • Project & Change Management: Support procurement initiatives by managing workstreams, contributing to project execution, and helping teams adopt new processes or tools.
  • Data & Digital Enablement: Use BI and analytics tools to interpret procurement data, generate insights, and support evidence-based decision making.
  • Risk, Compliance & Sustainability: Identify risks, ensure policy and regulatory compliance, and integrate sustainability and responsible sourcing practices into category strategies.

  • Advanced experience in procurement processes in Manufacturing. Bachelor’s degree in international commerce, industrial engineer desired or equivalent experience with multinational companies or working with international teams.
  • Advanced negotiation, strategic thinking and communication skills.
  • Intermediate MS Office Skills (Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc), Power BI desired
  • Language: Strong communication skills both in English and Spanish, verbally and in writing and comfortable in presenting complex ideas
