Una empresa líder en tecnología busca un profesional para garantizar el cumplimiento de los requisitos legales de HSE en Tijuana. El candidato ideal tendrá una licenciatura preferida en Gestión Ambiental, al menos 5 años de experiencia en HSE, y habilidades avanzadas en inglés. Las responsabilidades incluyen implementar procedimientos de HSE y mejorar la cultura de seguridad dentro de la organización. Se valoran certificaciones como Green Belt y experiencia en sistemas de gestión HSE.

Formación

• Licenciatura en disciplina científica o ingeniería preferida.
• Mínimo de 5 años de experiencia en HSE en un entorno industrial.
• Juicio maduro y capacidad para tomar decisiones estratégicas y tácticas.

Responsabilidades

• Implementar los estándares y procedimientos HSE de Honeywell.
• Coordinar las reuniones del Comité de Seguridad y las investigaciones de accidentes.
• Mejorar continuamente la cultura HSE en la organización.

Ensure compliance with legal HSE requirements, maintenance of HSE Permits.

Preventively escalated the Sr. HSE Manager as soon as any deviation is detected that jeopardizes compliance with legal requirements or HSE Permits.

Must coordinate the updating and maintenance of the HSE Management System Procedures, as well as the formats, in such a way that they are always in their current version.

Must implement the updated HSE procedures in all areas and employees to which it applies, in order to keep all personnel trained in said procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement the Honeywell HSE standards and Procedures as part of teh HSEMS.
• Check with his partners the follow up and comply with the MST (Web portal HSE) tasks, permits monitoring, reports, upload evidence, etc.
• Coach, Participate, Coordinate the Safety Committee Meetings, Accidents Committee Investigations, Gembas, Management of Change Process, etc.
• Work with supervisors and employees to continuously improve the HSE culture, awareness, and responsibility, in support of the objectives, goals and initiatives of the AOP annual operation plan.
• Be the example to be follow.
• Living the HSE Core Values, enforce the Honeywell HSE Cardinal rules with determination, decision, and examples.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree (Environmental Managements Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, a Science discipline, or an Engineering discipline preferred)
• Proficient English
• 5 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) experience in an industrial, manufacturing.
• HSE experience in a high-volume Distribution Center environment preferred.
• Mature judgment and decision-making ability, with strategic and tactical HSE experience
• Highly motivated, energetic, self-directed individual with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional skills in building interpersonal relationships, including high degree of tact, diplomacy and ability to influence.
