A multinational manufacturing company is seeking a Sr. HR Generalist to lead HR initiatives and ensure labor compliance in its production site in Celaya, Guanajuato. The role involves managing employee relations, talent acquisition, and HR operations. Ideal candidates should have at least 8 years of HR experience in manufacturing, strong interpersonal skills, and be bilingual in Spanish and English.

Formación

  • Minimum 8 years of HR experience in manufacturing (automotive preferred).
  • Proven experience in labor law (LFT, STPS), NOM-035, ISO/IATF standards.
  • Comfortable in highly regulated, fast-paced manufacturing environments.

A multinational manufacturing company is seeking a Sr. HR Generalist to act as a strategic HR partner within one of its key production sites. This position will lead initiatives in employee relations, talent management, compliance, and organizational development, ensuring alignment with business goals and global HR standards.

About the Role

This key role involves being the primary HR partner for employees and leadership, ensuring compliance with Mexican labor law and international standards.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the main HR partner for employees and leadership, ensuring compliance with Mexican labor law and international standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
  • Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, and workforce planning for technical and administrative roles.
  • Drive training programs in leadership, technical skills, safety, and regulatory compliance (including NOM-035).
  • Manage HR operations, personnel files, payroll support, and benefits administration.
  • Oversee performance management, career development, and continuous improvement in HR processes.
  • Support both unionized and non-unionized environments, including negotiations and contract administration.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of HR experience in manufacturing (automotive preferred).
  • Proven experience in labor law (LFT, STPS), NOM-035, ISO/IATF standards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with teams and leadership.
  • Knowledge of HRIS (SuccessFactors, SAP HR, or similar).
  • Bilingual proficiency (Spanish and English).
