ASSA ABLOY is looking for a Senior Health & Safety Engineer to join our team! This position will be based onsite out of our manufacturing plant located in Tijuana, Mexico.

What would you do as our Senior Health & Safety Engineer?

You will be responsible for guaranteeing a safe and healthy work environment, implementing and supervising policies, procedures and programs of safety and hygiene. Its main objective is to prevent occupational accidents, injuries and diseases, as well as ensure compliance with legal and regulatory regulations.

The Skills and Experience you need
  • Industrial Engineering preferred coupled with 5 years of experience in a similar function within a manufacturing environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills with minimal supervision.
  • Highly organized with the ability to set and manage priorities, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and deadlines are met.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity of incident investigation techniques and root cause analysis.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
