A leading power generation company in Monterrey is looking for a Sales Director to lead and develop their new Engineering-to-Order diesel generators business across Mexico and Latin America. This strategic role involves defining sales strategies, managing client relationships, and negotiating large contracts. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of B2B sales experience, especially in power generation, and must have strong leadership and communication skills. Ruhrpumpen is seeking a Sales Director to lead the commercialization of our new Engineering-to-Order (ETO) diesel generators business in Mexico and Latin America. This is a strategic leadership role reporting directly to the Sales Director and the CEO. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing this business line from the ground up, driving growth, and positioning Ruhrpumpen as a key player in the power generation sector.
Define and execute the sales strategy for power generation projects (government, data centers, and mission-critical industries).
Prospect, develop, and manage client relationships across Mexico and LATAM.
Lead negotiations of large-scale contracts and government tenders.
Build and strengthen distributor and integrator networks.
Collaborate with global manufacturing teams (India and Mexico) to ensure project execution and client satisfaction.
Represent Ruhrpumpen in industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.
Report business performance directly to senior leadership.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration; MBA preferred.
Minimum 10 years of B2B industrial sales experience, ideally in power generation or large-scale energy solutions.
Strong experience selling to government and mission-critical sectors.
Proven leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Conversational English (required).
High availability for travel across Mexico and Latin America.
