Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their sales team and focus on setting qualified appointments with potential clients.
The SDR will be a key driver in the top-of-funnel sales process, responsible for outreach, lead qualification, and scheduling meetings for the account executives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Outreach
- Conduct outbound outreach to prospects via calls, emails, and social messaging to generate qualified leads.
- Qualify leads by identifying pain points, needs, and buying intent before scheduling appointments for the sales team.
- Maintain a high level of activity to meet daily and weekly outreach goals while ensuring quality conversations.
- Use Salesforce or other CRM platforms to track outreach, log interactions, and manage the sales pipeline.
Appointment Setting & Qualification
- Schedule meetings with pre-qualified prospects.
- Follow scripts and adapt messaging based on prospect responses to maximize engagement.
- Ensure prospects are properly nurtured and informed prior to appointments to improve show-up rates.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align on messaging, campaigns, and lead priorities.
- Provide feedback on lead quality, scripts, and outreach strategies to improve overall performance.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with the sales team regarding scheduled appointments and follow-ups.
Personal Brand & Professionalism
- Represent the company with professionalism, energy, and enthusiasm in every interaction.
- Demonstrate a strong on-camera presence during virtual meetings.
- Be proactive, self-motivated, and driven to exceed individual KPIs.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in an SDR, BDR, or appointment-setting role.
- Fluent English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High energy and personable attitude, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- CRM experience (Salesforce familiarity is a plus).
- Comfortable with outbound calling and email outreach as primary responsibilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple leads and follow-ups.
- Ability to take feedback, iterate quickly, and continuously improve outreach effectiveness.
