Formación

  • Minimum of three years of Hotel Revenue Management experience preferably in a luxury brand.

Job Description

The Revenue Manager is responsible for setting the revenue management and pricing strategy in the hotels in order to optimize the revenue and achieve the highest level of profitability. This position will drive the implementation of the revenue management and pricing methods, processes, tools in the business scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for promoting revenue management and pricing understanding and application within business scope by spreading revenue management culture, coaching team members and communicating to the teams.
  • Monitors inventory and pricing in the business scope.
  • Interprets key performance results and evaluates related implications to the business.
  • Calculates ROI of proposed solutions in the business scope.
  • Has an understanding of revenue management and pricing offers in the region and brand segment.
  • Has a sound knowledge of third party solutions.
  • Keeps up to date with available information and is aware of economic and local issues impacting revenue.
  • Responsible for the deployment of revenue management strategies and tactics through various distribution channels.
  • Ensures that sales strategies and rate restrictions are communicated, implemented and modified as market conditions fluctuate.
  • Monitor transient and group production to maximize revenue ensuring that an optimal guest mix is maintained.
  • Works closely with Sales, Front Office and Call Center teams to ensure selling strategies are clearly communicated.
  • Analyze overall monthly hotel performance and provide summary report with recommendations to improve long term strategies.
  • Ensure web site booking process is maintained up-to-date and functional.
  • Evaluate performance of distribution partners and contracted rates (OTA, FIT, tour operator, corporate, consortia, crew, groups, etc…).
  • Develop and implement short-, medium-, and long-term revenue strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Analyze historical data, current demand, and market trends to forecast occupancy and set dynamic pricing.
  • Manage the revenue management system (RMS) and electronic distribution channels (OTAs, GDS, website, etc.).
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports (RevPAR, ADR, OCC, etc.) and present insights and recommendations to management.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, and reservations teams to align strategies and optimize outcomes.
  • Ensure accurate implementation of rates and restrictions across all systems (PMS, RMS, CRS, Channel Manager).
  • Monitor competitor performance and pricing (benchmarking) and adjust strategies based on market conditions.
  • Actively participate in commercial strategy meetings, forecasting, and annual budgeting.
  • Creates long range forecast for rooms and catering by segment and updates forecast every period.
  • Any other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
  • We recognize we are in the hospitality industry and that may require us to provide lateral service. We will on occasion call for each individual in the team to on a routine basis perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional service.
Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of Hotel Revenue Management experience preferably in a luxury brand.
  • A proficient understanding of Computer systems such as: Opera, Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook is preferred.
  • Proficient in revenue management tools, advanced Excel skills, and systems such as Opera, Duetto, Ideas, STR, and OTA Insight.
  • Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork.
  • Must be able observant and quick to respond to various situations while also multitasking and handling stressful situations.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write, speak and understand Spanish and English.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic distribution and digital hotel marketing.
  • High analytical capacity, strategic thinking, and result-driven mindset.
