Una importante empresa de alimentos y bebidas en Apodaca busca un Gerente de Experiencia del Consumidor y Sensory. Este puesto lidera un equipo de científicos de investigación en la ejecución de investigaciones sensoriales y del consumidor, apoyando la innovación y el desarrollo en la región. Formación

  • Mínimo 6 años de experiencia en investigación sensorial o de consumidores, preferiblemente en un entorno FMCG.
  • Habilidades avanzadas en inglés.
  • Conocimiento profundo de metodologías de pruebas de productos.

Responsabilidades

  • Liderar la ejecución de hojas de ruta de investigación sensorial y de consumidores.
  • Desarrollar planes de investigación integrados y alinear partes interesadas.
  • Gestionar interacciones con proveedores de pruebas de consumidores.

Responsibilities
The Opportunity

People manager leading a team of Sensory and Consumer Experience research scientists. With their team, this role leads all Cookies and Crackers sensory and consumer research in Latin America collaborating with product development teams or functional groups for all type of projects regarding Product, Package or Process (Innovation, Brand Stewardship, Portfolio Transformation, Productivity, etc). Deliver strategic guidance to those client areas including executive leadership. Develop strategic plans for long-term growth and capability building within LatAm EXP Team and across Global EXP.

Your Impact
  • Implementing Sensory and Consumer Research Roadmaps: Leading the execution of sensory and consumer experience research roadmaps (Innovation, Technical Brand Stewardship and Productivity) working closely with key cross functional stakeholders and ensure local adherence to TSG process. Decide / Execute.
  • People leader (tasks / projects): Lead and guide 1 sensory scientist (direct report) on AOP and Strategic projects assigned to them. Collaborate and guide the rest of the scientists on the team - Accountable.
  • People manager (staff development and capacity building): Partner-advocate career development with the intention of capability building through technical and personal growth. Contribute towards making and maintaining PepsiCo as the employer of choice as measured in OHS scores. - Accountable.
  • Strategic Planning: Developing integrated research plans and aligning stakeholders across various business functions (R&D, Consumer Insights, Marketing, Innovation). Execute / Consult.
  • Efficiency Improvements: Leveraging existing global EXP protocols and processes to drive time and cost efficiencies. Consult/Execute.
  • Vendor Coordination: Managing interactions with consumer testing vendors ensuring best practices. Execute/Decide.
  • Methodology Innovation: Proposing and implementing new and more efficient ways for execution, analysis and reporting of sensory results. Decide / Execute.
  • Insight Communication: Providing interpretation and actionable insights to senior managers executives. It is based on both Qualitative & Quantitative research with consumers for both existing and future R&D projects. Consult / Execute.
Qualifications
¿Who Are We Looking For?
  • Professional degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g. Sensory science, Psychology, Food Science) preferred with a strong theoretical background in Sensory test design, research methodologies & statistical analysis techniques.
  • Minimum 6 years previous experience in a Sensory, Consumer research/insights role preferably in an FMCG environment.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Deep knowledge of product testing methodologies with strong background in Sensory, Qualitative & Quantitative research methods.
  • Horizon scanning and ability to implement in-house cutting-edge consumer science methods.
  • People coaching and development.
