A media outlet and conference series is seeking an Outbound Email Creative Copywriter & Strategist. In this role, you will lead the strategy and writing for email marketing campaigns aimed at maximizing event attendance. Ideal candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in copywriting and executing email campaigns, along with a strong command of the English language. This part-time position involves approximately 25 hours of work per week and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic team focused on improving business relations with society.

About This Role:

The Outbound Email Creative Copywriter & Strategist will own the ideation, writing, and strategy for email marketing campaigns across our event calendar. This role requires exceptional writing skills and the ability to translate audience insights into persuasive messaging. This role is approximately 25 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement overarching strategy and concepts for our email marketing to ensure maximum event attendance.
  • Write, edit, and optimize persuasive copy for all outbound email campaigns.
  • Create compelling subject lines and calls-to-action designed to maximize open and registration rates.
  • Develop tailored messaging to specific roles, event types, or sponsor priorities.
  • Ensure every email is free of errors, and feels purposeful and aligned with our brand voice.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations to refine copy and improve results over time.

Requirements

  • Strong command of English language (written and verbal).
  • Must own a working laptop of a recent model and have full access to wifi of sufficient speed.
  • Candidates should have a strong academic background and a minimum of 3 years of full-time, professional post-graduation experience.
  • Proven experience planning, copywriting, and executing outbound email campaigns that drive measurable results.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and optimize copy accordingly.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
