The candidate will lead the design, configuration, and deployment of D365 F&O solutions across finance and supply chain. Ideal candidates will have 7+ years of relevant experience, deep knowledge of core modules, and proficiency in ERP implementations. CONSULTFIZ LATAM, a fully owned subsidiary of Confiz LLC, is looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Functional Engineer to support the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of core business processes within D365 F&O. This consultant will play a key role in enabling seamless operations across finance, supply chain, and project accounting domains. The ideal candidate will bring deep functional knowledge of D365 F&O modules, hands-on configuration experience, and the ability to drive solutions that meet enterprise needs.

Responsibilities

• Functional Solution Design & Implementation: Lead the analysis, documentation, and implementation of business processes in D365 F&O (e.g., General Ledger, AP/AR, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, Procurement, Inventory, etc.)
• Functional Solution Design & Implementation: Translate business requirements into functional specs and configurations using best practices aligned with standard D365 capabilities
• Functional Solution Design & Implementation: Support end-to-end solution delivery including gap analysis, configuration, data validation, and testing
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with business process owners, solution architects, and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Assist in developing training materials and conducting end-user training sessions
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a functional expert in workshops and design reviews across finance and operations workstreams
• Testing, Support & Continuous Improvement: Prepare and execute test scripts, lead UAT sessions, and validate configuration against business requirements
• Testing, Support & Continuous Improvement: Troubleshoot functional issues during implementation and post go-live phases
• Testing, Support & Continuous Improvement: Recommend enhancements and optimize system usability and adoption
• Integration Development & Support: Design, configure, and extend D365 CE modules (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service) to align with business requirements.
• Integration Development & Support: Implement model-driven apps, business rules, workflows, forms, views, and dashboards.
• Integration Development & Support: Perform data mapping, cleansing, and migration using out-of-the-box and custom tools.
• Collaboration & Technical Enablement: Collaborate with integration engineers to support REST API, Power Platform, and middleware-based integrations with ERP (F&O), marketing, and third-party platforms.
• Collaboration & Technical Enablement: Troubleshoot and optimize integrations between D365 CE and external systems using Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Collaboration & Technical Enablement: Ensure integration solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with enterprise standards.
• Collaboration & Technical Enablement: Work with technical product managers, architects, and business analysts to translate functional needs into technical solutions.
• Collaboration & Technical Enablement: Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and deployment planning.
• Collaboration & Technical Enablement: Provide support and guidance during UAT, go-live, and post-production activities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O (or AX 2012) as a functional consultant or engineer
• Deep knowledge of at least two core D365 F&O modules (Finance, Procurement, Projects, or Supply Chain)
• Proven experience in full-cycle ERP implementations including Fit-Gap analysis, configuration, and testing
• Strong understanding of data migration, dual-write, and integration scenarios
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
• Microsoft certifications (MB-300, MB-310, MB-330, or equivalent) preferred
