A leading design firm in Mérida is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to focus on pre-press production. The ideal candidate will prepare and digitize graphics, ensure technical quality, and support production. A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator are required. This is a full-time on-site role with a rotating shift schedule.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Graphic Designer, located in Mérida, YUC. This is a critical, hands-on role focused entirely on pre-press production within our manufacturing environment. The Junior Designer Designer will be responsible for the accurate preparation and digitization of graphic files, ensuring all artwork is technically flawless and ready to be processed for both screen printing and sublimation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and digitize graphics for production, ensuring adherence to quality and technical standards.
  • Prepare pre-press files specifically for screen printing and sublimation manufacturing processes.
  • Identify and report technical issues within art files to maintain production efficiency.
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently while consistently meeting strict production deadlines.
  • Provide immediate graphic solutions and support to the production floor as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Graphic Design, Arts, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in design digitization (A portfolio is mandatory).
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the iOS operating system.
  • Language: Intermediate English (written and verbal).
  • Availability to work the designated 7am to 7pm shift (4 days on, 4 days off rotation).
