Overview

In the role of Senior Consultant, you are fully responsible for the conception / design of the company-wide network solutions / IT security with creation of standards. Planning and design / dimensioning of the network with regard to topologies and technologies. Development and optimization of work processes through automation. Comprehensive technical management and control of network topic complexes. Guiding offshore team and work closely with different stack holders. Planning and implementation of changes. Error analysis and troubleshooting (3rd level).

Responsibilities

• Conceive and design company-wide network solutions and IT security with creation of standards.
• Plan and design / dimension the network with regard to topologies and technologies.
• Develop and optimize work processes through automation.
• Provide comprehensive technical management and control of network topic complexes.
• Guide offshore team and collaborate with different stakeholders.
• Plan and implement changes.
• Perform error analysis and troubleshooting (3rd level).

Qualifications

• Required: 9+ years of experience in Networking domain.
• Required: Proven experience and success with Firewall and Checkpoint technologies.
• Required: CCNP & CCIE certified.
• Preferred: Hands-on experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls, Cisco ACS/ISE, Tipping Point and Wireless technologies.
• Preferred: Expertise in NGFW and its methodologies.
• Preferred: Knowledge of configuration of any new firewalls.
• Preferred: Manage & maintain the PAC file for proxy.
• Preferred: Knowledge of MS Defender, Tanium, Checkpoint.
• Preferred: Knowledge of F5, Proxy, FireEye, Proofpoint.
• Preferred: Knowledge of IDPS functionality and procedures.
• Preferred: Knowledge of identity and access management platforms.
• Preferred: Ability to utilize identity and access governance frameworks and methodologies.
• Preferred: Strong knowledge of PCI requirements pertaining to security, monitoring, and alerting.
• Preferred: Basic system administration skills for Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Preferred: Knowledge of network protocols, data flows, and vulnerabilities in a TCP/IP environment.
• Preferred: Basic understanding of cloud networking.
• Preferred: Familiar with fundamental networking concepts.
• Preferred: Independent problem solver; self-directed, self-starting.
• Preferred: Ability to prioritize and work issues via the ticketing system.
• Preferred: Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic operations environment.
• Preferred: Experience building and maintaining automated alerts and dashboards.
• Preferred: Knowledge of at least one scripting language.
• Preferred: A desire to work collaboratively in a small, cross-functional team.
• Preferred: A strong sense of accountability and self-motivation.
• Preferred: Strong analytical skills.
• Preferred: Strong customer service orientation.
• Preferred: Fluent in English.
