A leading consultancy firm in Mexico City seeks a DevOps Engineer to enhance software development through Continuous Improvement techniques and automated deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate is proficient in Linux/Unix and has extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Docker. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to optimizing DevOps performance.

Formación

• Experience in server connections using SSH, WinSCP, and sqlclient.

• Experience in incident resolution and troubleshooting in production environments.

Mandatory Requirements

• Proficiency in Linux / Unix (Red Hat) operating system and command-line operations.
• Basic database knowledge, including SQL commands, and executing processes such as backups/load in ORACLE and SYBASE.
• Database maintenance and installation.
• Experience in server connections using SSH, WinSCP, and sqlclient.
• Version control and code management with Git.
• Automation and Continuous Integration using tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Docker.
• Experience in incident resolution and troubleshooting in production environments.
• Performance issue resolution and system optimization.
• Experience in configuration and release management.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automation strategies.
• Ability to document installation processes, troubleshooting steps, and supporting evidence.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• On-site work at the client's offices.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Cloud Automation DevOps.
• Installation and configuration of MUREX environments, including Client-Server installations (internal training available).
• MUREX deployment in Continuous Integration environments, using Jira, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
• Experience with CRM / Jira for issue tracking and case management.
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning and optimization of Linux-based applications.
