Formación

CONFIGURATION MANAGER – POWER ELECTRONICS

YOUR TASKS

As a Systems Engineer (CM) – Power Electronics, you will steer and accomplish complex project coordination tasks of superior importance for the overall product, including construction, hardware, software, and system components. You will develop, define, and optimize working environments for all system aspects, ensuring robust configuration management, integration, and change control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Configuration & Change Management

Define rules for Configuration Management Strategy, Branching Strategy, Baseline Strategy, System Build, and Change Management environment.

Oversee baseline configurations for applications, system, software, hardware, and mechanical design assets.

Maintain data quality, integrity, and security of the Configuration Management library.

Define and plan configuration management for the overall product and its components; administer configuration environment and tools for project teams.

Define and plan troubleshooting and change management; organize and chair System Change Control Boards (CCB).

Develop and build tool chaining and the build environment.

System Specification & Architecture

Clarify and define complex system requirements from customers, standards, safety requirements, and internal stakeholders.

Draft, create, and coordinate functional system specifications and system architecture, including proprietary, standard, and third‑party systems.

Coordinate cross‑functional requirements and measures.

Project Coordination & Integration

Coordinate and administer requirements development environment and tools for the project team.

Create information models for projects, documenting all necessary rules and conditions.

Create system engineering plans and steer the project team within the defined framework.

Ensure compliance with defined standards in system development, initiating and monitoring corrective measures as needed.

Plan and conduct system integration and integration tests at the system level.

Process Optimization & Reporting

Record KPIs (metrics) for work results and process quality.

Optimize and further develop the process environment for efficiency enhancement.

Carry out other tasks related to the position, including evaluating suggestions for improvement and ensuring compliance with industrial safety and environmental protection measures.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, IT, or Physics.
  • More than 5 years of relevant experience in system engineering, preferably in automotive or power electronics domains.
  • Strong knowledge of project management, quality management, Automotive SPICE, and system integration.
  • Proficiency in English (negotiation level); additional languages are a plus.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and moderation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
