Position:

Business Analytics and Reporting Engineer

Job Description:

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Create, maintain and enhance Business Intelligence components (metadata, reports, metrics, dashboards). In doing so participate in data modeling, business process analysis and development of reporting functional and technical specifications.
• Write and maintain technical documentation supporting BI deployments.
• Monitor report environment performance, logged errors and system activity to facilitate SLA management. Coordinate resolution of issues as needed.
• Provide project status and progress updates to BI Management team.

What We Are Looking For:

• Typically requires a 4-year degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
• Experience analyzing data to support business strategy, identify insights, and drive decisions.
• Strong experience with Power BI: Proficiency in building interactive dashboards and reports.
• Experience with ETL processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Expertise in SQL for database querying, management, and optimization.
• Practical experience with Python and DAX.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; must be fluent in English.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to independently solve complex issues and drive improvements.
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.

Even Better if You Have:

• Experience with Tableau.
• Related certifications.

Work Arrangement:

• Hybrid: 3 days in office/2 days work from home

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$38,000.00 - $47,300.00 MXN Monthly

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
